The Beach

Fushifaru Resort Maldives’ beach is an idyllic paradise. The soft white sand and turquoise water offer the ideal setting, along with coconut palm trees lining both ends.

Fushifaru Island may only boast 63 villas, but that is still enough space to take advantage of all the amenities found at a 5-star Maldives resort. Furthermore, Fushifaru’s small size gives Fushifaru an intimate feeling and makes moving around much simpler.

Each of the 63 beach and water villas are uniquely designed to maximize their own island locations, featuring 24-hour butler service, luxurious outdoor bathrooms with quality Egyptian cotton linens and private porches that open out directly onto the beach.

There is also an array of restaurants and bars nearby, such as an infinity pool bar. Fanihandi Bar serves tea, coffee, mocktails and cocktails along with fresh coconuts for snacking poolside while Raakani offers delectable seafood platters and grilled meat dinner dishes.

If you’re seeking something different for dinner, why not experience a unique dining experience at a teppanyaki restaurant? They feature live action teppanyaki-grilled beef, seafood and Japanese flavors in a lively dining setting.

One special activity worth doing on the island is the Sand Bank Picnic, in which guests can relax on a sandy island with water hammock and enjoy lunch or dinner on the beach! It’s an unforgettable way to experience its unique vibe!

Fushifaru Resort Maldives features three restaurants on the island that serve international cuisine with Maldivian-influenced flavors: Korakali for breakfast and lunch; Raakani offering seafood platters, grilled meats and themed dinner nights; and Teppanyaki.

All these restaurants feature a tropical Maldivian ambience and stunning ocean views, making for the ideal dining experience. Choose to dine a la carte or take advantage of one of the resort’s dining packages; or experience something truly memorable like floating pool breakfast, private dining under the stars, or picnicking on the sandbank!

At each restaurant, the food is delicious and the staff friendly; they go above and beyond to make your dining experience truly enjoyable. When greeting customers they offer warm greetings while answering any inquiries you have regarding menu items or prices.

We were fortunate enough to experience their Arabian and Indian dinner night – it was absolutely delectable, allowing us to taste every ingredient!

Another feature we enjoyed at this resort was their Underwater Playground. It’s an awesome spot for photos with amazing lighting effects and bicycles as well. There are two swings underwater with “FUSHIFARU” on them as well.

Not to mention, the water here is exceptionally clear so you can see all sorts of fish and marine creatures! Furthermore, low tide offers perfect opportunities for snorkeling and free diving!

At this resort, there is a variety of activities to keep us busy; our favorite was swimming in their incredible infinity pool which looks out onto the sea and looks incredible at sunset – we were so happy we chose this resort!

The Activities

Fushifaru Resort Maldives provides an abundance of activities. Their dive center and water sports center offer kayak, SUPboards and snorkel equipment rentals, while tours may include visiting a nearby island, dolphin sunset cruises or fishing expeditions – among many others!

Fushifaru Beach is a dream, boasting gorgeous powder white sand and clear turquoise waters beckoning its visitors to enjoy this paradise beach. On the opposite end of Fushifaru Island is their Dive Center, providing visitors with snorkeling equipment or certification programs so they can explore some of Lhaviyani Atoll’s most exciting diving sites.

At low tide, snorkeling and free diving to these underwater spots filled with vibrant corals, fish, and sea life is also possible. Additionally, there is a playground designed specifically for children that includes an underwater swing, bicycles and even a Fushifaru sign!

To maintain a clean and healthy environment, they have instituted an eco-friendly waste management policy which emphasizes recycling and reuse. Glass, paper, plastics and wet waste are separated and disposed of accordingly.

Avoid single-use plastics on the island and reduce your carbon footprint! They offer an infinity pool which faces directly towards sunset for some incredible reflection shots!

The resort’s water sports center, conveniently situated adjacent to the jetty, offers an assortment of activities designed to keep guests occupied and entertained. Rental kayaks, SUP boards, windsurfing boards and jet skis are available, along with snorkeling gear. Furthermore, boat tours for sightseeing tours such as dolphin sunset cruises, turtle excursions or fishing trips may also be arranged as needed.

Fushifaru provides guests with unforgettable dining experiences, from breakfast on a mini dhoni floating on water to private pool dinners or an unforgettable romantic dining experience on Handhu platform outside Korakali Restaurant.

Fushifaru rooms are spacious and pristinely clean, featuring many features valued by guests such as morning coffee service in-room, Wi-Fi access and both an indoor and outdoor bathroom.

What we appreciated about this resort was their commitment to environmental preservation and their goal of zero waste production. You’ll find various recycled objects throughout the island – even old motorbikes which have been restored and placed strategically along the beachfront for people to admire!

One of the highlights of this resort is its idyllic and peaceful atoll with turquoise waters. Furthermore, taking a seaplane ride there provides an amazing experience; not as long as others yet still allowing you to see various atolls and islands from above!
